Welcome to Morton Freshman Center Project TAPESTRY!
We have high expectations for our students and expect them to be in classroom everyday. Everyday attendance is key to each students success. Project TAPESTRY works hard to ensure that each student has access to transportation, school uniforms, and plans on how to get to school on time every day. When students are not in school it makes it much more difficult to be successful and stay on track. Our goal is to help students become interested and invested in their education. When we help students understand a clear path to success they will be more self motivated to succeed.
Classroom Rules and Guidelines
Senior’s Plus students are required to follow all school rules and regulations, just like every other J.S. Morton student. Please be sure to always have the required school uniform, school I.D., and please see the Morton Student/Parent Handbook for more information.
How to Become a Part of Project TAPESTRY!
Contact the Site Coordinator, Ms. Crystal Royal, in order to discuss the referral process to Project TAPESTRY. Students are selected for TAPESTRY based on SIT (Student Intervention Team) meetings. Students are selected based on needs of the student and Project TAPESTRY ability to provide services.
